Book Synopsis
A virus starts spreading slowly in a small oriental province, but rapidly accelerates into a pandemic more insidious than the black plague. Officially, blame falls upon a lowly Chinese fishmonger and the local custom of selling live fish and other animals including bats in open-air wet markets. One man knows the truth, but his attempt to bring it to light plunges him into the dark world of international politics and covert government activities. Fearing for his life, he engages the services of team π to irrefutably expose the real cause, and at the same time keep them all alive.
